Well, well, as you seen it wasn't me making a little wrong clicking. It actually only got the png, but now it's fixed and I thank you for that.

Now I got an added question to this. Can one use these Magic-Bird era arenas also in 91-92 Jordan ? Many of them were the same with only small differences so visualy it should be good, but I fear the arenas might have different numbers. If so one should be able to just number them differently if a list of all courts was at hand.
Think you get my drift.

I fired my quality control staff due to "wrong clicking" LOL. Lagoa released some 1992 courts, some free, some paid. You can rename the files to the correct name and it should work. I have done this with changes to the city courts. Look in the tutorials section for arena/court IDs.

I don't know if you have noticed, but I replaced a floor using the template and the court is smaller than the game thinks it should be, players can stand over the end lines and not get called oob!

Might explain a few turnovers for my team. LOL. I always expected that the template makers had the correct dimensions. I would think that they followed the 2K court dimensions but maybe 2K's dimensions are wrong.

Make sure the files are in the correct folder. If the IFF files aren't in the levels folder they won't work.

No man that is not the problem. I am using all the 90s courts from legoa and also your Celtics court. All the rest of your courts do not work for me (I see black courts). I do not know whether I am the only one with this problem. Cheers

I also get black floor with all but Celtics. I figured I was the only one so I didn't mention it. I tried removing ALL mods and only using these and still same issue unfortunately. I currently am using Lagoa's paid 90s courts mod and various other 8k court mods and these are the only ones I can't seem to get to not show up with the black floor. It is amazing work and I currently have a MyNBA for each era going now but was putting Magic/Bird on hold until I could figure these out. The Knicks arena I just can't get over the center logo with the default court im ocd like that lol.

Magic vs Bird era courts may not work for 1990s. I have not modded any 1990s courts so I don't know. Different courts for different eras.
See my post from Dec. 22 to see what courts I modded. They work for me in the correct era. They are OK in Play Now and MyNBA.

I am sorry to say but I am using your mods in the Magic-Bird era and they do not work. As I mentioned before only Celtics court works (this I believe is same for Ryan).

Unfortunately the courts are showing up black for me in my magic/bird myera and for quick play as well.

Has anybody had success using these courts? If they don't work I will retire from modding. Some courts have been downloaded 80 times without any complaints other than my mistake with putting the wrong file in the d/l link.

Rest assure the ones I tested works.
One has to do some edit with names if like playing on Dallas Maverick in Jordan Era that file on Mavs court should be named 1991 not 1983. But that is an easy edit. The only difference on that 2k court and yours are the stadium names as the baseline. Think some others have perhaps bigger differences.
So for me I would be happy to see a complition of these courts. We had some variations over the years and would be cool to have many variants and just edit the files when you like to change.
Now make a note I haven't tested out many courts yet, since still on the roster editing. The issue I think mentioned of size problem is something I haven't noticed but then I am not watching that closely.

So do keep them coming. I for one will be happy and if any blackscreen pops up they must be checked.

The tricky thing is to locate what the names should be. The list of stadiums I found missed out on some naming in those 80-2000 eras. Like I tested Phoenix Suns and that 1983 named iff file works fine on Magic Era, but Phoenix Suns had it's last year in that Veterans Memorial Stadium in that first year of Jordan Era I think. Given your 1983 file the name 1991 as in Mavs case didn't cut it. The arena was the 2k variant. But since not finding what floor.iff file 2k uses for Suns when playing Jordan Era I had to leave it as is. Testing of course later on. Tested on Denver Nuggets 83-file and renamed it 1991 and it pops up in Jordan Era.
So a full list (tried the one on this forum) of all used names on floor files could be useful.

Thank you clamel. The tutorial section has stadium IDs listed. I don't know how accurate or complete the list is. When I tested these courts I made sure they showed up in the correct era. I have not tried any other era. The different eras should have unique courts but that would depend on 2K being accurate. 2K may have used the same file for multiple eras. Most of the time that is not accurate.

As for lagoas courts I'm sure he replaced the correct files. His 1990s courts are for that era only. Since he's the court goat, I trust him to do the correct thing, especially since not all of his courts are free.

I have had issues in past versions of NBA2K when I simply renamed a jersey file and occasionally it did not work. I found the best method to use is to extract the DDS file and replace it in the IFF file. If renaming works then that's good for you.
