Downloaded CF mods don't work on 2K share rosters.

Why is it some face mods don't work on certain rosters in 2K25? I'm using an updated user-created roster from Mr. Joelseph in 2K share, and some of his players are self-created faces instead of the updated ones I downloaded. I've d/ld them, put them in the proper place, loaded the game, edited the player, and the default face is still there.

Because the roster you downloaded hasn't got the same ID that you downloaded assigned to the player(s)

You can edit the roster with Cheat Engine, read the threads about it

just import the dna of the player from the official 2k roster. if its a custom roster with custom ratings, just hit the import appearance, keep attributes

That won't work with the rookies and some others that aren't in the rosters, I think there may be some DNAs on 2K share but I am not sure, I have never used it.

Yeah, maybe something to do with the Created Players. There's a way tho to fix this,
1. Edit Player
2. Import Player DNA
3. Load/Download NBA Player Data
4. Search; Search by Content Name
5. If there are results, best bet probably will be the one with the most 'Downloads', trial and error
6. Import Appearance, Keep Attributes

Then save changes. Edit player again to see if it worked.
That's at least what I did with my roster and it worked so far.
