Black courts after 10/18 update

I had a few modded arena files and they all suddenly went black after today's game update... anybody else experiencing this??

It seems like now any arena file that you add to the mods folder makes everything go black... hope this is only temporary

I played nba2k25 modded and everything was good cause i opened the game over steam.

Today i opened over geforce experience cause 2 days ago i added it there.
After i opened over geforce experience, all mods alike players and arenas are black or hollow.
And when i want to started it over steam its the same !

Please need Help, what can i do now to fix this problem ?

Or is it because of the update u talking about?

Yup, I just confirmed it. It is because of the update. There are some new files inside the arena iff files with today's date. That means 2K probably added them to all arenas across the game. I just exported the "new version" of the arena and it does work. If I go back to my modded version, it goes black again...

Unfortunately it seems like all modding work we've done on arena files is gonna have to be fixed or re-done after today

Yep, its a problem with old Basket.SCNE

Not working anymore.... to fix this, just need to substitute old Basket.SCNE for new (Patch 2.0) but Stanchion mods will be desapears with this, because Basket.SCNE is about stanchions.

I work a ENTIRE AFTERNOON to fix this on my 90s courts.... Because a need to rework in all files one by one...

Re-export the arenas and copy your modded files back in.

Can you explain it a bit. I exported the Knicks court file (arena_014_int_floor.iff) and then opened it with 7-zip and added my modded court (floor_clutchtime_court.32098eb5ced33ec2.dds) to it but it doesn't show up. It's just black.

You need to use the template file by RedLite2K. Default floors like the one you mentioned (arena_014_int_floor.iff) does not contain floor_clutchtime_court.32098eb5ced33ec2.dds that works under the template. What you should do here is drag your modded court texture to the template file and rename that template file to the knicks ID.
