Player face portraits not showing up in game

I modded candace parkers face portrait 9502 and put the file in the mods folder. But, then when i go to rosters her face portrait isnt being used. And when i go into the wnba my career. When you go and view the goat rankings her portrait is now missing.

Make sure to assign the portrait ID manually since some players don’t have a default ID.

i did, that, thats when now theres no face portrait and now theres no 3d model portrait either. But, or player list view shows up though. The problem with this game. Is that if you add players to the game and you want them to have a player list portrait and a face portrait. You have to replace a player that already has those portraits. Its so bizarre. And players have to play for certain teams for there portraits to show up. GOD why did 2k do this. It makes the game seem so unprofessional like the whole game is just one big MOD.

Like Towns is 4472 but when you put the .iff files for headshot & full body shot (and have them renamed accordingly to *4472*), they are still not showing for KAT in-game.
