Custom Rosters for MyGM or MyCareer?

Been wanting to try out the ‘new’ MyGM mode but they took out the ability to use a custom roster. Ever since I started making my own roster, using the 2K default roster makes the game unplayable to me, so I’m just curious to see if anyone has found a way to use a custom roster for it. And if so, is it also possible to use a custom roster for mycareer?
