Possible to change season length in MyNBA Eras?

I downloaded a scenario which starts in 95-96 but it has 82 games. I want to change it to 28, or whichever is least. Is it possible?
So basically, is it possible to change the season length after playing a season or two?

I don't believe it's possible to change that setting after the game has been started, at least not in-game. I'm not sure if there's a freely available tool that does, though I suspect changing it would probably risk crashes and corrupted data.

Yeah, I'm trying to find a 95-96 scenario that has 28 or 56 games because I want to do a run with the Bulls but I've only been able to find full 82 schedule scenarios.
