I know for me personally, I'm trying to solve this issue for NBA 2K22, but for most people who may share curiosity on how to rectify this issue, they're likely on NBA 2K23 or 2k24, with many who will be on 2K25 soon and I'm sure it's likely 2K25 will just cut-and-paste their new MyNBA mode from 2K24 to 2K25. I'm not even sure anyone has any information on this, but I suppose this would be a good place to start to see where people are at.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how we are able to edit parts of the League History. No matter the year edition of 2K, despite the navigation bar changing from 2K22/2K23 to 2K24, where its the traditional pop-up bar from the bottom left corner of the screen like in older titles such as NBA 2K13 and such, where you navigate all the different parts of MyLeague or in this case "MyNBA" (in previous titles that navigation bar is at the top of the screen), the path for the information I'm referring to, is (League News > League History). This then brings you to several options; "Season Awards" which has the previous years' Most Valuable Player, Sixth Man of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and the like. There's also Hall of Fame, League Leaders, and Past Champions.
Does anyone know how to edit these values?
The wonderful tool known as NBA 2K tools, which creator looyh releases every year unfortunately do not edit these values, although when you edit a team's history like championships, last year playoff appearance and such, these changes WILL be reflected in the "Team History" tab but not the League History tab if say, for instance, you change the Team info in 2K tools so that instead of the Warriors or Bucks or whoever from winning a past championship, it won't change it within League History, but it will be reflected in Team History.
I am aware there was previously a tool which supposedly could fix this issue for previous NBA 2Ks by Shuajota known as "Fantasy Star" but all of the latest forums I've seen about that tool, the most recent being 2021, stated the files were now corrupted for it, nor am I sure it would work for more recent titles such as 2K22, 2K23, or 2K24.
Anyone who has any insight as to how to edit these values, please don't be afraid to share your thoughts below.
Thanks your for input!
