Which ones? Because downloading from my website is now easier than ever. If you're referring to Kyu's mods, it's not my fault. It turns out that now all of their work must be downloaded from his Patreon.
Why is everyone going to these strange sites to upload their files? I can't d/ld your Bucks City jersey off of sharemods.com. It tells me to start the download, create a download link, click allow, then it takes me to a site that says it's a virus threat. Have to jump through too many hoops just to get a mod. Why can't you modders just stick with simple sites like Mediafire? I guess everyone wants to get paid now.
I know it's cumbersome, but I share the original link of each author. In these cases, they are websites that provide payment to the creator. Therefore, I cannot re-upload their content out of respect for their work
Well, modding is changing quite a lot. Nobody does it for the love of the game anymore. Everyone wants to profit from their work and I understand they've put in the time and effort to create. But it's signaling to me the game is going to suffer losing people if everybody starts asking for money.
I understand it's a trend, but don't say 'nobody' because every year I release PCBasket roster in which I invest hundreds of hours (several months of work), just like my friends who help me with it and I don't put the download links behind ad links or paywalls like Patreon.
