Issues with default cyberfaces - AD

Postby EpilepticRabbit on Wed Mar 06, 2024 11:10 pm

I noticed that some players have issues with the default cyberfaces such as Anthony Davis with this braids. In the editor they look fine but when they are loaded into a game it looks like this. Is there any simple way to fix this? https://prnt.sc/AnQjYQBd0qsP

what's wrong with that? Simple way is to download a CF mod or learn blender and fix it yourself?

Look at the braids. They are completely bugged and it's the default face. I'm not sure if you're trolling or not, but you can go and look at the model yourself when you're in a game with AD. I don't even know if it's an issue with the model because other problems like the one with Julius Randle's braids is identical and can be fixed by using the facexxxx.iff from NBA 2K23, but for AD I don't think it works because he had the same issue on 2k23 as well.

As for learning blender I already use it for PES 2021, but not for 2K. That's why I ask if there is a simple way to fix this.

But this is a 2k24 forum, so why don't you get a 24 cf? I don't zoom in that close to notice. I think I contribute a bit more than you to this community but maybe I'm wrong. 2k have so much stuff they half arse for us pc guys.

Wtf are you on about? I just want to know if there is a way to quickly fix the default model for 2k24. I'm not looking for a custom cyberface for him. Like I said, for other players with the same issue the textures from 2K23 can fix it. Why are you making this a dick swinging contest? I'm truly baffled by your approach to my question. If you can't help, keep it pushing.

Hmm thank you for the update. I'm not sure what's causing it then. Can you check if you have any installed mods, and if not can you extract the default files for AD? I want to see if it fixes it to rule out it being a game issue.

I have no AD mods, you can get the default files via the 2K File Explorer?

I'd still think it is a gfx card\driver issue

When the game is run with low/medium textures and a resolution of 1080p or lower, it is normal to occasionally see those "bugs." Try setting the settings to high/ultra.
