NBA2k24 Hair Style Issue

Hey guys. I'm having an issue with the hair style switching. I was in the middle of modding Kyrie Irving and wanted to add a couple of hairstyles and change their names to my liking. I went into the apearance_info file like I sis in 2k23 and switched the names of the hairstyles under configuration, but when I saved the file, added it to my mods and went to check in the edit player it just showed the same names. For example the hairstyles for Kyrie Irivng are "AFRO, HYBRID, HEADBAND, HEADBAND_FURY, and SHORT_FACIAL_HAIR" so I changed it to "AFRO", SHORT_FACIAL_HAIR" and "AFRO_WITH_FACIAL_HAIR" and when I went into accessories to change the hair style it never changed. Do you guys have a fix??? Much appreciated.
