Game Crashing right after NBA Finals

Does anyone have any clue how to fix the game crashing right after the NBA Finals? Always happens when you press enter on the playoffs screen immediately after a team has been crowned the winner.


Seems like it has something to do with the off-season process.
For what it's worth, I'm using a custom roster and an auto-generated 2k draft class.

Any advice would be appreciated
