Questions about global.iff and creation tools

Firstly, is there some toggle for a global.iff being tested to see its effect being turned on and off in real time?
And then can someone recommend a video or tutorial for attempting to make my own cyber for a player and also for creating a scoreboard for the MSG network?

Thanks. I mean, I can search myself, I was more asking if there is something as often with modded games where people say, "this person has the definitive tutorial or method for creating cybers". But thanks, every little bit helps.

i had just searched it and the videos by shuajota could be good ( i haven't watched them. i haven't tried to make a cyberface... ever)

anyways, i'm not arround much, but the 2k20 scoreboard tutorial should answer all your scoreboard questions ... making scoreboards for 2k17 - 2k23 is the same process as outlined in the 2k20 tutorial.

No, no, it wasn't that, all I meant was that I wasn't looking for someone to show me what could be found online, I was hoping somebody might say -- as I said before -- you just need to read "this"... but it's not a problem. As far as the globals go, I was under the impression that tons of people use them and all I've gotten here and elsewhere is, "umm... i dont know, delete it? I don't use them..." so now I'm wondering whether all the people on youtube are just making these and nobody is actually using them.

Now, what are the chances some of those 18 scoreboards work now in 23? Has the score bug changed that drastically? I didn't know you had scoreboard tutorials, though, that's good to know, I'll have to try and find them. I'm not a good 3d designer or anything but I'm really good with Photoshop (I studied graphic design, among other things) so I'd love to have a shot.

18 scoreboards don't work outta the box with 23 .... but you can use the dds textures and build a new one .... sometimes you can take newscorbug.vcuielement and drag them from different years, and the scoreboard will work ..

if you are interested, you can make a panel ... viewtopic.php?f=279&t=114253 .... if you play franchise .... sometimes the panels pop up in other modes .... moving the words around was way tooooooo difficult, but the panel is just one texture

about globals.... one trick is open the global.iff and to sort by last modified ... you can see what files are edited ... the original files are timestamped 2014 ... see image: https://i.imgur.com/yJh1dor.png

i'm not great at photoshop .... but you can look at my msg psd for reference... think it's a bit old, cant remember ..... i usually just take a screenshot and build the scoreboard in photoshop

Anyways, it's not that there is one person, or one tutorial.... just that lots of information from 2k17 - now ... anyways, modding usually slows down in spring/summer and picks up in the fall with the new game

i don't know anything about lots of modding... never made a cyberface, dunno about stadiums or jerseys, but they are all modded by excellent people here. just send them a pm and they are usually very helpful
