Can you assign extra roster slots using 2KTools?

There are a couple of players in the FA pool that need to be put on their current team, however, how do you add them when the 15 spots are filled without releasing one or two? Some rosters have as many as 18 players on them, so I know it can be done.

You can add two-way / overseas contracts so then you can get 18 players in a team. I have tried other methods and the roster could crash, so these are the two ways to add more players properly.
