Do you have any idea how to mod the 2000 scoreboard? It's horrible but the iff has no dds files to mod and if I rename one of the above to be scorebug2000 I get no scoreboard in game

Mahmood wrote:Have you ever looked into inserting a texture into the upper right stat card like you have with the Lower3rds? Been wanting to make those fully custom for a while but not entirely sure how to work with the anims. Kind of want to replace some of the attributes with FGA / FGM, etc. too

i guess you are talking about that one

... i don't know the .iff name or vcuielement name .... i don't think it has it's own .iff .... maybe it is in one of the goey files or something. not sure, never thought about it
2k14 had a gameplay player hud ... https://m.facebook.com/Clutch2K/photos/ ... 111044662/ ... but the iff is no longer in 2k223 ... there is a gameplayhudplayerlock_r.iff in 2k23 .... but it is not loaded with the game ... and the scenes in gameplayhudplayerlock ... they don't have a reference to the 2k logos... and changing a few animation files don't seem to do nothing... probably not the correct scene
anyways, if you were to find the scene file ... could replace the 2k logo with a custom texture ... but don't know which scene controls that... maybe something in the goey files or global something, i dunno.

Do you know by any chance if the transition wipe of a player's highlight can be adjusted/modded too like the 2Ksports transition wipe through the gooeyoverlaysstatic.iff?
I never really liked the replay transition that they kept in the game since 2K20 til 2K23 that much tbh and imo the wooden planks look from 2K19 was looking the best in the recent years, the replay transition showed the highlight's player portrait too exactly like they have it on next gen now again. I just tried exporting the gooeyoverlaysstatic.iff from 2K19 but 2K23 crashes if it's put in the mods folder, I'm guessing because of a lot not anymore compatible files in it. Do you know by any chance the exact corresponding files in the gooeyoverlaysstatic.iff which are responsible only for the 2Ksports transition wipe so I can try drag and dropping them in the default 2K23 gooeyoverlaysstatic and if possible also the exact files for the normal replay transition? That would be very helpful to try it out. Thanks for any help in advance!

Edited in what sense? It would be a pain in the butt to modify those actual wipes in Blender (for me at least), but they can easily be swapped out for other wipes.

this mod has a tnt wipe.... for 2k23 ... but that is for screen changes ... never thought of player highlight
i don't have 2k18 or 2k19 installed (well, i don't own 2k19)... but, if you search the manifest for WIPE ... maybe you can find the player one
[ Image ]
for 2k23... i played until a player highlight and looyh log says that it should be playerwipe2.iff
anyways, you can post the 2k18/2k19 playerwipe here ... or you can drag the playerwipe2.vcuielement from 2k23 file into the 2k18/2k19 file and see if it works in your mod folder.
hopefully moving the playerwipe2.vcuielement will work or maybe something can be done in the scene files... anyways, not sure the name of playerwipe for 2k18/2k19
hope that helps.

Thank you so much for the help and explanation Bongo!
I tried it exactly as you said. With the complete playerwipe2.iff file from 2K19 in 2K23's mods folder there just isn't any wipe showing anymore between that transition. And with only the playerwipe2.vcuielement put into 2K23's playerwipe2.iff the game completely crashes when a transition would appear. Maybe the 2K19 files just aren't compatible anymore I loved the wooden planks look so much and they looks so much better and more like basketball than the glowing lights transition 2K kept in the game since 2K20 and didn't change anymore so that would be disappointing but I still uploaded the playerwipe2.iff and also the gooeyoverlaysstatic.iff which contains some other wipe files from 2K19 for you to download and try and test to make it work if you find a way somehow. You'd be my hero Either way thanks a bunch for your efforts and time if the 2K19 wipes just aren't compatible with 2K23 anymore. https://www.mediafire.com/file/kdc8h659 ... 2.iff/file
