Game crashing in play now and training modes

A few months back, I was editing a roster file and after that, I can no longer do the Play Now or training modes of NBA 2k23. It crashes to desktop during the loading screen. I can play games in My League, no issues but I cannot play a game in Play Now or even training mode. I did a clean install without mods in a different computer and it's still the same. I cannot play a game in Play Now or training mode. What can be the cause of this? I'm using the Steam version of the game. Thank you.
