KI's doubleteam logic

How's the KI's doubleteam logic in 2K23? Just played 2K20 and I do not have a single clue what they were thinking. I was the Sonics (custom 94/95) roster, Payton had 2 points on 1/3 shooting and once he reached 5 assists, the KI (Orlango) started doubleteaming him for the entire game...he finished with 9 assists (6 minutes per quarter)...I mean...why? Is this issue still present in 2K23?

Consensus seems to be that it's bugged/broken, or at least less than ideal.

IMHO they don't recognize well If a player is playing bad or good.....this is the buggest issue.
You have Double Teams for sure....but the logic behind them is far from perfect....
p.s.
try put interior defense rating low on roster editing......this...in general will help to get a lot of double on the post; seems like if ID rating is high the AI won't send help....
