Start in off-season

Hello, I used to play NBA 2K20 for the past years and just want to try NBA 2K23 and it seems that the "Start in the off-season" option for My League is not available. Any idea how to unlock it?

Are you trying to use custom rosters? It only seems to work with official rosters.
