MyGM Player Lock?

I'm getting bored with MyLeague and want to try MyGM. However, I prefer controlling one player only so I was wondering if it was at all possible to use Player Lock on MyGM through a mod or settings? It's so stupid to me that 2k would not allow us the option of choosing for ourselves if we want that feature or not.

chill out man. player lock is in myleague but not mygm. i don't know of a mod that would allow player lock in mygm, though,

Yeah I want the same feature but it hasn't been possible since 2k20 far as I recall.

If you have the 2khook mod there are secret options in game in the pause menu that will allow you to play as 1 position. It's probably not what you want though if you only want to play with one player because you will be locked to the player position not the player. So when that player is subbed out you will play as the replacement as well. I usually only use this in blacktop mode because because it makes the game feel just like park mode but offline.

But download and install the 2k hook mod by Looyh and enable the debug options. When in game, pause the game and scroll down to 2kU options, in that menu you will change the control type to MyCareer and choose which position you want to play.
