We have an update concerning the NBA 2K22 Remastered release timeline.

For a little background behind this decision, we've run into some unprecedented issues concerning some of our files causing undiagnosable crashes, rapid finding of new methods, and our personal lives have begun taking more of a precedence as we near the holidays. This decision was not made easily as I had my heart set on release for the 20th, but I have to agree with the team in saying that this is the best course of action to maintain the 'Remastered' brand of mod. We will post new updates soon with an outlook on our possible release timeframe. Sorry to disappoint.

It's always better to put the time into initial development and release a quality product rather than push out a buggy product and have to hustle to patch it up.

We all know how great Remastered is so the extra wait is well worth it. This release looks to change the game in so many new ways...a must-have for 2k22 on PC

If you have a good eye, you'll also see that the fonts are different. For the first time in years, we have figured out how to effectively implant new / existing fonts into the game via older 2K's.

Love the scene guide. I think it's a good thing to leave guides on forums.... especially when people drift away and drift back.

Was wondering.... editing the fonts.... did y'all edit english.iff with the 2k9beta iff editor? I could edit the text... but couldn't figure out how to edit the numbers.

Just wondering the method behind the font edits.

sat down the other day and figured out how to edit english.iff in 2k14... wrote a tutorial here: viewtopic.php?f=153&t=113390 not sure if it's the same for 2k22. i didn't check.

Anyway, just got back from overseas and am going to continue work on this. No date coming out anytime soon as I need to actually set time aside to complete this.

Well it was definitely usable lol, also the first time we've gone that far in modding certain things so of course it's not going to be perfect, I honestly hate the 2k21 version now because I know it can be so much better -- but do understand that it's not as easy as just finishing, sometimes it takes a few tries to make something that really scratches the itch, y'know.

What are you talking about?!? I used 2k21 Remastered and it was amazing. I'm confident Mahmood and his team will put out a legendary Remastered for 2k22.

Hey Mood, any news, updates, or info yet? Just curious brother...I check the forum every other week with my fingers crossed that Remastered is ready. Thank you again for all the hard work and sacrifices you guys endure in crafting these mods so others can have a more enjoyable 2k experience.

I just call it as I see it and don't kiss someone's ass hoping it motivates him to do something.
2k21 remastered was buggy as F**k you know it I know it and Mood knows it.
Does he get credit for trying? yep, But he then loses points in the fact he knows he's not going to finish it. again but still refuses to ask for help.

And a little news, progress this last month has been great and the mod will be out within a month. Guaranteed. There will be a few changes from previous previews but they were done for the good of the mod. I'll be posting some more previews and some specifications along with them very soon. I can't wait to get this out, I think it absolutely blows 21 Remastered out of the water, and isn't like anything seen before this year. See you all on the next post.

PS: great work but given the timing of this release, my suggestion is to just focus on releasing for 22-23 season with fresh (season) start which include all the off-season transfers.
