Like the title says, is it possible to play on the release patch? If so, how?

I've never felt the need to actually experiment with it, but supposedly it's just a matter of what version of the *.exe file you're using, so if you have a copy of NBA2k22.exe from launch, you can just drag it into your main game directory, overwriting the current NBA2k22.exe (though obviously you should always back stuff up) and then you're back to the Day 1 version of the game, and your saves should theoretically be intact.
