How to make historic roster?

I've been trying to find working roster formulas for 2K that are free to make a roster for the 2015-16 season, but from hours and hours of research, I'm dry, except for one Shuajota post and a random Reddit post from ~4 years ago. I know that CelticLG offers a breakdown of his ATD method in his Patreon, but I'm looking for a free method. I have no idea how the 2K attributes/badges/tendencies system works, I have no money, and I'm welcome to any help.
