They take up 6 GB and I want to replace them with files w the same name but smaller size. Anyone knows a way?

I don't think that's possible. Those files are what they are and contain what they need to contain, as inconvenient as the size may be.

they are created from scratch if u delete them ,which makes me wonder what is this 2gb file that can be created just with a launch of a game

Those files contain regular update (myteams cards, shoes, roster etc...)
So if you delete it the game will recreate them and will update them the next time you launch the game and steam is online.
