I use rtomb_03 Lakers and Hornets S015 and S031 Files and want to change the backboard with your manual but i try it and the stadium is invinsible. I try it with the other stadiums and it works very good.
Do you have a suggestion for me? Thank you for your good work :)

Check texture name (cos I changed some of them due to proper formatting) with the texture name inside BASKETS.SCNE, under row "binary".
If not, I use the same stadiums, so here you are what I edited:

Lakers:

Might be these somehow need MIPS row.
I included mips row into tutorial (belive it will also not cause problems to other stadiums), added Celtics & Suns new ads, re-packed it and you can download updated pack from the link in the first post

Hello, thanks for your work, I have a question, when placing the texture and placing the code, the edge of the board loses the original color and becomes the color of the advertising texture, any solution for this problem? thanks

yes it happens.. that’s why im not using this method (separate twitter texture) cause it also affects the rim glossiness.. unless you are using looyh’s updated stanchion design, it works fine, and it needs the slim version texture to work properly.. for default 2k stanchion it is better to put on the top of basket backboard texture, and clear the text on the original team twitter dds.

It is true also affects the brightness of the ring changes color, thanks for the information. At the moment I am changing advertising with the alternative method. It is more difficult, but it gets the job done. (Y)

bro, i don't have this

2) Open your sxxx.iff (where xxx is team ID - example: 76ers arena is s000.iff), from your mods folder;

i never mod my arena.

does this mean as a pre-requisites to have this backboard mod, I need to have arena modded?

can you pinpoint me where to get this sXXX.iff from?

Yes mate, you need to either download already modded arena from other author or to extract your original arena (stadium file named sxxx.iff - where xxx is ID number of a team) from the game base and import this texture.

I didn't want to post full arena packages due to copyrights , I respect all authors and their amazing work, so I just uploaded textures created by me to be imported in already existing arena/stadium file.

This is a great piece of immersion/work here. I don't know if it was mentioned in the thread or not but I just checked them and they are in fact compatible with 2k20 as well. Again, great stuff!

I will use opportunity to ask a community for a help/advice - I knew it before but I forgot it, can anyone point me how can I adjust arenas LED lighting values so it's not looking too strong and too shiny (led panels, shot clock, etc...)?

:arrow: for Dornas LED, under items.scne, look for the file that starts with flp_scrfXX as shown below, the highlighted part "Effect" are the shaders that affects the illumination, reflection etc.

:arrow: then search that same word (as highlighted) on items.scne.. and under the Parameter of that "Effect" you can see the the LED part with value (as highlighted) 0.600 as default, you can increase the value to brighten or decrease to reduce the illumination..
The same method to change the illumination of basket stanchion small dornas (at basket.scne) and LED ribbon, gamestats, etc (at arena.scne)

:arrow: for shot clock, there are two ways to change the illumination depending on the stanchion design that you are using..

:arrow: for default 2k stanchion
:arrow: change the R value (as highlighted) of timeboard_number_big. for 24 shot clock and RG value (as highlighted) & timeboard_number for game clock..

:arrow: [b]for looyh stanchion (current design)

search for shot_dig at basket.scne. then edit the diffuse color RGB (as highlighted), looyh set the value at 9.0,9.0,9.0

:arrow: the reflection on the floor(court) depends on the illumination level of the LED

Perfect bro, I would not have explained it better :bowdown2: :bowdown2: :applaud: :applaud: , I could only include something else, just like the LEDPart with value 0.600 of the item.scne, in arena.scne is also there, the difference is that you can find one or more LEDPart depending on the arena you want to edit, that you would have to change if you want to adjust its greater or lesser illumination on the floor. I hope this was helpful.
