Thanks a lot for the feedback!
NewJerseyNets wrote:This is from an earlier version of your class though. My main feedback/note, which you may have addressed, would be there aren't enough 90+ guys. In fact no one became 90+ in this save by '27.
Also, kind of an issue on the 2k side, but waaay too many guys are ending up in the middle range of 75-78. Like 10 or so undrafted guys per year (in addition to most of the 60 players who were drafted) get there before they even get a contract. It messes up free agency, because these undrafted dude all want to get paid before they even play a game. It requires a lot of off season roster editing to solve for.
I would personally make most 2nd round and undrafted player's potential in the 71-73 range to make it so 1st rounders aren't so frequently losing their starting spots to the G League superstars.
Do you think you might've started your MyLeague before October 13th? That's when I released the final balance update.
What I did was run a simulation, and at the start of each season I would count the number of guys in the 60-65 OVR range, how many are 65-70, etc. Then I would adjust the OVRs and potentials in my draft class until it became approximately stable, with retiring superstars getting replaced by an appropriate number of maturing young stars, young stars replaced with developing prospects, etc.
The issue with no players reaching 90+ is also something I addressed in that update.
Hopefully your next playthrough will work out a little better! But do let me know if you still feel like changes are needed.

The 7'2 big man you're referring to (Bismarck "Bigg" Harris) was actually my attempt at making a bust, a bit of a poison pill. Ramping up his athleticism was one of the things I did to increase his chances getting picked first, BUT:
- I maxed out his Intangibles rating to over-inflate his OVR
- He has a number of glaring weaknesses, including:
- Poor defensive consistency at 33
- Terrible offensive consistency at 25
- Poor shot IQ
- Horrible passing skills
- Weak ball handling - easy to strip of the ball
- His 99 potential shouldn't have a chance to kick in, as his Peak End age is 21
Have you checked his stats? He should be a chucker. His point totals should look good, but he's hurting his team by taking possessions away to shoot fadeaways at a low FG%, and by causing turnovers. His attributes should also start declining early.
Kinda funny that he battled injuries in your playthrough, since durability wasn't supposed to be one of his weaknesses
Anyways the idea was that attentive players would hopefully notice some of his deficiencies when scouting, and they would be rewarded with the actual talent (Paris Hart, Gilbert Stone, Barney Reed, ...) getting pushed one spot lower in the draft where they can snag them. Would you say it worked out for you? Or is it just stupid?
