Reshade causes game to not launch - EGS Version

Installed Reshade for 2K21 and for some reason it makes the game not launch. It's stuck on this screen.


Uninstalling Reshade doesn't fix the problem, so I have to completely reinstall the game That fixes it however.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

steam version or not ? Try playing it offline.. or also take out your mod folder

using the egs version, playing it offline doesn't work and i've already tried taking out the mods folder, nothing.

Is there no fix for this? I'm still having this problem.

I don't think that's the problem. It is good that everyone feels free to release a own version and even the same modder wants to offer different variations of his work. The problem is on the Epic Games platform and how it is running the game. From what I could read on Reddit, Epic would be blocking the Reshades. If I find any solution, I will bring it here.

My reason for saying that is, It's hard to decide which one is best to use.

I had the same issue but I was able to find a fix without reinstalling. If you go to Appdata/Roaming/2k sports there should be a videosettings file. If you edit the windowmode to 1 it should allow you to open the game again. I also made sure to delete reshade when I did this idk if that helps though.

The problen is that we want reshadelmao

A months late to the party but it suddenly started working like a week or two after the issue started. Don't know why. Didn't do anything. Looks like the issue is still happening to others though. Hope there's a fix someday. Or maybe the fix is to just do nothing? it stopped working again :/

Recently 2K updated the game and now the reshades are working on Epic version.
