Hey guys!
After a few days of testing and trying to understand the new NBA 2K21 I came to a pretty bad conclusion regarding the jerseys.
They had a considerable DOWNGRADE, compared to NBA 2K20. They are not realistic, the shirts hardly move, they look static. It´s like NBA 2K16 and 2K17.
I am considering continuing with 2K20 this year, it seems to me that 2K, for a change, left something to be desired in several factors. And you? What do you think?

is pathetic normal that they have a 2 in steam

2k probably should have just left jerseys alone imo. I will have to rework some of my designs to bring them over to 21

That's why the player mods don't work well, 2K just using STATIC jerseys....
It´s 2021 and 2K Sports opt to using 2000 JERSEYS Style..... MY GOD!

its not a downgrade, its a new feature

Ahhh... So this is why I notice more smoothness when I am recording in game footage. The jersey physics are mostly removed.
While it does help me in some ways, I do prefer the 2K20 style.
Thanks for pointing this out. I think I will be playing both games this year as 20 still has some things that I prefer

This actually makes a lot of sense to me now. I have a gaming desktop and laptop and I could never run this game smoothly on my laptop. In fact i've never been able to have the resolution be at 1920 x 1080 or it was too choppy. This year I didn't have to change any of the video settings and I remember thinking that was weird. I assumed it was better optimized but honestly making the clothing static would have a huge effect on FPS and this probably why. So ya that kinda sucks.

i prefer this i remember in 2k19 and 2k20 sometimes the jersey physics had a glitch specially on my players shorts.

I will probably be go to 2k21 when it got patched with rookies and updated transactions/ trades (Giannis to Heat, BTW). But for now, I'll stay with 2K20.

2K20 on the console was poorly optimized, by the looks of it, they added more detail in the player models and took the detail out of the jerseys. I knew something was different now I see the difference.

I used a tight jersey mod in 20 so I'm loving this tbh.

Yo Rob, which tight_jersey mod are you using in 2k20? does it carry over here at 2k21?
