Did we just got an update from 2K? all my files are now corrupted

so pissed; all of my setting and everything even myLeague save file are all corrupted.

every single time i re-enter the game from Steam, it treats me like a new user; to put in DOB, view the Agreements.

that is so strangely odd.

me too, I have uninstalled the game and I am downloading it again but I am not sure that it works ...

Likewise, update finished downloading, load it up and boom, everything corrupted! I hope there's a fix for this soon!

same here. even tried create a new player and it cant even load it after you exit out of MC. i send them an email asking for every vc back that i have grinded

it's definitely affecting most of us; the steam community discussion is now up to 8 pages; i've submitted a request to 2K but I ain't getting my hope high.

There's a mention that linking your Steam and Epic account may solve the issue.

i did this 40 gigs of download and the same msg comes up

You can't even save rosters now. This happens every time you load the game. This is really bad. Hope they find a solution.

2K haven't even released notes for the new PC/PS4/X1 patch as yet, but yes, it looks like it's causing problems on PC at least. Doesn't look like it caused any issues on the consoles from what I've seen on the official subreddit at a glance.

For anyone who hasn't fired up the game on PC since the patch came through, I would suggest it'd be prudent to keep holding off until the matter is resolved.

I was able to recover a lot of things , because I had backups of manifests and executables from previous versions, I put the ones from version 1.09 and everything worked again. The funny thing is that I discovered it because after the update my manifest file had disappeared, or simply it is seen that one of its big bugs is that when updating it did not apply the manifest file in the game folder , I could not even do anything every time I ran the game, I could not move from the main menu screen, as if everything was locked.

So any solutions guys?

I use "Temporary Fix" from 2kspecialist site and wait for a fix.

What temporary fix? I didn't see any on his site....

I just opened the game, and it's showing another update. I wonder if this is the fix for corrupting files? Think I should try it Andrew?

its took 10 minutes to install on my m2 drive. 2k cant really code for pc

surely you can load or reinvent the sliders? i reckon if your roster is saved, you ought to be grateful already.

in saying that, all of these shouldn't have happened; 2K should really learnt from this mistake, which I doubt they will.

I haven't seen any apology nor news/announcement for last night patch and as what Andrew was saying, there wasn't any release note on this patch update; not sure if last night patch was unintended or released on accident/mistake.

No acknowledgement about the issues, which is not altogether surprising, but at least it seems the further update resolved the problem for the most part.
