Why doesn't it work for me?I put the share folder into waigua folder but nothing changed.

Do you have waigua installed?
NBA 2K20 External File Plugin (Waigua)

If you do, you should be able to drop the waigua folder right into your game folder, and it should work.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe the stadium you're using doesn't reference that file?

Is it not working for certain stadiums or for all of them.

No. This has nothing to do with the global file. Just install the plugin by copying to your game folder (NBA 2K20), and then copy the gatorade mod in your game folder.

For most people, the game folder is located in:
<steam folder>\steamapps\common\NBA 2K20

A very good question.

I think so, but it would take a lot of work. Anything you see that's 0kb in the arena files are utilizing the shared folder the same way the gatorade coolers are. I think everything could be dynamically referenced the same way if we made all of them 0kb, but haven't taken the time to test that theory.

The other way I know would work would be to create a stadium for every broadcast variant and every team, but that would probably end up being like a terabyte

Yes,i have it.But it's still 2k in the game.

We can change any texture if we can find it. That's the most difficult part.

I tried to do a quick search in the manifest for mic, but it didn't show. Managed to find a few others, but not this one. The gatorade cooler is referenced in almost every retro stadium file, so that one was hard to miss.

Yeah. It has been done before. Not something I'm personally getting into right now, but it can be done.
