LaMelo Ball myteam face scan

So I see 2K posted this, and will be releasing a few of the others too. Seems they had already scanned them for the draft, and will be releasing a myteam card for him...



I dont play online at all, so couldn't care about that...but I assume if they are in myteam its possible to extract the files?

Yeah, we'll be able to get the face files if they get included as actual players.

They are back at making face reveals from bottom views though, which makes it look better than they actually are. I still remember this 2K18 reveal:

Yeah very selective use of angles for sure.

In my opinion, NLSC community is making a better work with these guys. Bearing in mind that we do not have their tools and we haven´t the real players at our disposal. I hope that this community can join forces in 2K21 and that we all achieve something great.

Are we sure any of these players are face scans? To me they look like when 2k attempts to create a player from scratch (see Jarred Vanderbilt in 2k19 or Melvin Frazier in 2k20).

Also how do they have the right to these players? I assume they haven’t signed with the NBAPA

Ball, Wiseman and Cole look scanned.

Edwards looks way off, and RJ is not bad but that's not a scan.

Can't tell with Onyeka.

Ball, Wiseman, Onyeka and Cole look scanned. Edwards and RJ Hampton cf look like a generic cf. But Cole and Wiseman cf remember me to Malik Monk render in 2K18. Or Vanderbilt and Frazier as you say. I remember they hadn´t his rights or something like that and the player wasn´t 100% a facescan. The textures are poorer compared to Lamelo ones. Theoretically, 2K could also include players like Deni Avdija, Theo Maledon, RJ Hampton, Killian Hayes and others who have been playing in professional leagues I think.

Really sus camera angles they got goin here

RJ Hampton looks fine. I haven't seen any mod that looks better for that one. Its all just personal preference but that Anthony Edwards is not even close. They should have left that one off. That reminds me of when NBA Live just put random faces as placeholders. I think 2K has artists still work on models of players even if they are scanned.

anyway... I'm looking for these at this time. Anyone had any luck finding them?

Wiseman looks pretty good. No reason to continue to finish mine. Ball is also as pretty good, as well as Cole.

i think Cole is the worst of the bunch, he looks like a character from mycareer.

Agreed Ball and Wiseman look solid

Honestly not terrible on any of them. Texture work on some and mod work on others but the bases are a decent starting point. I think the previews didn’t do them justice.

I also think this is a great sign for 2k21 mod compatibility. They wouldn’t have these face scans in this game if they weren’t easily ported over to the next.

Watched your video, does Anthony have his tattoos scanned? Is he the only one or so Lamelo and Hampton have theirs too?
