So I saw Petty's amazing headshape for Cade and thought to spruce it up with some new textures. Here's a preview tell me your thoughts

Good idea petty's Kuminga looks brilliant in terms of the head shape and likeness, LosJosh's texture work on top would be even better.

I get what you mean, there's something about it that looks a lil weird....but still looks absolutely insane, I think as you can continue tweaking it it will look amazing by the time your done. What pic are you using for a reference?

I think it's one of these ones were it almost looks too good in comparison to the body texture, which makes it stick out in a strange way.

Good job both of you. Only good things could come out of this collab.

My advice:

- The issue with looking weird is that the texture has too many native illumination. Try to take out the contrast and shadows and highlights out of the texture. 2k looks amazing by itself, so the texture needs to be as plain as possible. I would edit this with Curves and Levels in Ps.

- Try to smooth out the texture on the skin. You can leave the details on eyebrows, mouth, eyes, etc. But 2k again adds a soft layer of normap map to skins were it's just not necessary to have very detailed and texturized skins, unless you are talking blemishes or beards like MonekyMan does. Just use the smoth tool over the skin a little so it doesn't look that pixelated.

- I would personally make the skintone a liiiiittle lighter. It already looks a tad to dark in edit mode, so it will look way darker ingame with shadows added.

Other than that, it looks amazing, truly. Great job both of you. These are just details I pointed out, but the face already does look good now and all the basic checkpoints are there. Nice job again.

Aight I made it a little brighter, added some pink to his lips, i don't know how to use curves or smooth tool so I'm going to start learning that after this face. Sorry I'm a photoshop beginner lmao

There is something making it look slightly "blocky" in game there, not sure how to describe it. But mate it looks amazing from you and PPP, I bet you the 2k22 version won't look as good.
