where do you get custom stanchions for different teams?

You can make them by editing the s0xx.iff file for whatever team you're looking to edit. As far as finding pre-made customized stanchions... I have no idea where to do that. Making them is not super hard. Try and figure it out and if you need help you can PM me and I can see what I can help you with if I can.

I have made a stanchion for the bobcats 2010 but i dont know in what fileformat to save it. I know its DDS but the game crashes after saving it with gimp. Any tips ?

Go download the NVIDIA dds plugin for photoshop. DTX1 no alpha is fine to save it in. You just have to edit the baskets.SCNE file, sometimes anyway. I didn't have to edit it for the Knicks stadium file, but everything else so far has had to have the baskets.SCNE edited. In the SCNE file you're gonna have to delete some lines and add a few in other places. Go look at my Spurs Fiesta mods and download it. Take out the baskets.SCNE file from the s025_city.iff and go get a regular Spurs court and grab that baskets.SCNE file too. Run them both through an internet difference checker and look at the difference. Change everything the way I did and your stuff should work just fine. I literally only edited the stanchion in that stadium mod so it will good for an example.
