Quick Modding Question

Hi, so I just have a quick question about editing the png files without the use of blender or anything. If I have a Patty Mills file and I wanted to get rid of his hair and beard so that he looked like how he did during the 2014 NBA finals, is there an easy to do this? For example by deleting certain files within the .iff? Sorry if this question is dumb
