A very slightly modified version of my application designed for conversions to 2K19 produces conversions to 2K20 free of the issues we have been discussing. Except in 2K20 the vast majority of the application is no longer necessary and can be removed, shortening the process down to a few minutes.

Great news!!!!!! Master! , I have a question, we are still creating 90s retro seasons mod in nba2k19, is this method work when we change 2k20 face to 2k19???? We need some new retro face to save time

It may work but to be honest that's not something I will be looking into in the mere future. I still need to look at converting 2K17 and 2K18 faces to 2K20 before I worry about converting players to prior games. I have to stick with what the majority of people will be interested in which is converting to the new game.

Thanks for your reply and you hard work again, I understand that convert 20 cfs to 19 is not the majority of people interest, but if I will be very happy if you can help, of course it is fine if you not willing to help and I am still happy as you are helping 2k fans a lot and we are so thankful, me and stildo33 are still creating 90s season roster, we will keep update this rosters, now we are nearly completed 1991, 1992, and 1993 season and a lots of draft class, we will keep making as much as season we can do through out the year, the most important point is I am creating cyber face ( a lot of unmade players for the 90s season), I aleardy made around 30 unmade with quality, we aim to fill up all missing player cyber face for the retro roster and finally there will be a 90s full season roster with complete cyberface, I know there are still many retro Fan waiting for the roster, so if you can help me it is great and I can convert some 2k20 cyber face which can speed up my progress and saving a lot of time:)

Lastly , thankyou again for your help to community every years:)

It is a quick and easy process that can be done by a beginner, and you get a clean conversion. I have a tool that you run once, click a button, and exit. Then after that it's just normal edits to the text files (appearance_info.RDAT, hihead.SCNE), and then optionally you can shrinkwrap in Blender

I understand about all the work being put into rosters. I am not going to ignore your interests and I will take a look at it, it's just a matter of when I get to it. When it comes to figuring these things out, I have to go in order of the games and focus on one game & thing at a time. If I jump around to a bunch of stuff it becomes unclear what makes things work or not work. So right now I am focused on converting into 2K20, as I have to go in order of the interest of the majority of people.

Although I haven't looked into converting 2K20 --> 2K19 yet, based on last year I anticipate that it will come with more complications and will be more time consuming (see my 2K19 conversions tutorial). Of the games from 2K17-2K20, 2K19 has proven to be the most difficult so be ready for a challenge.

After converting 2K18, 2K19 mods, is it possibly to manipulate them further with your other tools? E.G. use your auto-shrinkwrap tool to give the converted mods a different 2K20 body?
