I tried to move a player from a team to another but it didn't appear to be working, so I guessed I didn't save.

Any clue ?

99% agree. This tool is awesome. Thx Looyh great work for the community

you save your changes in game not through the tool

I think someone mentioned about not being able to edit draftclass... but if you load the draftclass in your ML you can search for the player and edit them that way.

I know. I've Read all the instructions before. Run the game, open the tool, then save in game. It works when I edit in game. But when I reload the roster or ML, saves disappear.
Probably a mistake in my process.

This is true, I have made edits to prospects like this for a few years now.

Correct, but in this way it only works for me. Instead, if we could manage the draft prospects profiles as with the rules, this would be a massive plus for draft class makers like me. I mean, this tool is already incredible, but with the possibility to edit Draft class too, well..that's perfection!

y'all going to have to give each step of your process if you want your issue debugged.

i been using this tool a bunch... both in roster creator and in myleage... steps

run game
open my league
open the my league roster tab (under front office)
open looyh tool
edit karl malone 3pt to 99 in looyh tool
put 76ers ben simmons in free agency in looyh tool
right click karl malon and assign to 76ers in looyh tool
see that all changes occur correctly in game
save myleague
exit myleague
close looyh tool
restart game (looyh tool not running)
open myleage
all changes are still in place (malone on 76ers, malone 99 3pt)

my bet... y'all closing the tool before saving...

But yeah, tool works perfect for me .... Y'all gonna have to give each step of what you are doing.

So far I needed version 1.05 to edit rosters in MyCareer because It was the only version that allowed the in-game editor IIRC. Would I be able to edit rosters in MyCareer in the latest version of the game with this new amazing tool?

Thanks!

Thanks for this step by step tutorial. But still not resolved for me:
open ML
open ML roster tab
edit arena alt and jerseys (check in game and it works)
save ML and exit ML
Close looyh's tool
Restart the game
... all edits revert to original

still not resolved for you?
once again, you left out important details

"edit arena alt and jerseys"

exactly what team arean alt did you edit? and to what new value?
exactly what jerseys did you edit? and to what new value?

or did you edit arena... alt jersey... and jersey

again... if you want looyh to debug what you are doing.... provide all the information

what roster are you using?

another detail left out

exactly how is anybody going to "resolve" your issue if nobody knows the details of your problem

You should use my NBA2K_Hook first, to avoid data overwritten by official roster.

Maybe it's me, but it crashes when i try to edit teams in MyLeague
I do this:
- Open 2K
- Load MyLeague (36 teams MyLeague)
- Go to the roster tab
- Open the tool
- Go to the Teams tab in the tool
- The tool crashes

Do i have to do other stuff?

EDIT: I figured out, it was a problem with my Save

This is amazing! Thank you so much for it! I have been editing the stats on a roster with it as well as the team all time records. Is there any way to use this (or anything else) to edit the League scoring records and career records?

Thanks a lot, I didn't get the "right clic + assign to" thing.

It doesn't move the player but copy him to the other team, but it's a minor issue regarding the efficiency of this tool.
Thank you and many thanks for the tool.

Edit : sorry that it's becoming obvious that english is not my native language

Hey Looyh

Do you think this tool will ever be able to edit roster without the game on so we can edit anywhere?

No,that needs decoding the roster file , and other validations, memory editing is a better way for now.

Dear Looyh, with the way your superb tool works, will it be able to edit also draft classes in the future or it's too complicated?

I'm sorry to bother you again with this request, but it would really be a game changer for all the draft class makers. Thanks!
