I'm not. If I am, I apologize. There's not much explanations on how to work these mods. Thats all. I am learning all this as time goes on. I realized that all these config things is new to me. So I am just trying to know everything and learn how to set it up properly. Also, I have made my own file groups so I am trying to remember to save those on a separate file and copy and paste it onto the configs that natkra90 has provided. All these comments are helping me to get a better understanding of what files are needed so I appreciate everything. You guys are doing such great work.

If you haven't downloaded anything yet, all you need is the latest standalone, and you're good to go.

No worries bro. (Y)

We don't get tonality over text, so sometimes we hear things differently when we read them than how it was written.

Regardless, I appreciate the questions because others may be running into the same issues.

Just found out something interesting. The files in the shared folder that end in .dds are actually .iff files.

This will allows me to change any individual dds (playoff logo for example) according to whatever mod you're in. So you can progress through MyLeague and I can update any graphic I want dynamically based on the year you choose in the launcher. Another example is stadium ads. Right now, I have to create a whole new stadium every time I want just one dds to be different. By utilizing shared folder, I should be able to dynamically reference them through configs.

Eventually, I'm hoping that we can have a mod for every year. At least the last 30 years. Utilizing this will drastically reduce mod size.

@ chronoxiong , After reading natkras comment i realised that probably you did not mean it the way it came across. I know how it is sometimes when you try to get your mods in order. The reason i pointed it out is that when this happens on a broad scale same modders do take issue. Something we can remind eachother of :)

Like you asked before i compared your All in One waigue folder with Shaq Thunders Retro Roster (Main roster) latest update. Here is a list of files that are different or missing. I also checked the actual retro folder in your mod:

-garnet 1365 missing png
-png0389, your file and thunder shaqs have a different size. Maybe just check it.
-png 3930 missing
-f026 missing

This is the mod pack from the Ultimate Retro Roster i was reffering to http://www.mediafire.com/file/no891zgksa6uor9/Newly_Added_Mods_since_4-10-20_update.7z/file

You are correct. This will be fixed on the next update. Hopefully dropping this weekend. Next update will be mostly about floors. Adding playoff logos to all the floors from 1991 to 2014, and making corrections like the issue you mentioned. The 2010/2011 mod will utilize sticky-fingers floor pack.

Great work, has anyone found a fix for the "years pro" bug when importing draft classes? I know it's a 2K bug not a bug on this mod.

This thread from os has a potential solution. Haven't tried it, but you may have some luck.

Here are the instructions found in the summer folder. I'll just leave this here in case someone wants to know before downloading how it works:

1. Download NBA 2K20 Summer Circuit Drew League Mod:
https://www.webgemsnyc.com/how-to-setup ... eague-mod/
2. Put all the files in "waigua" within the download in the "summer" folder. DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN WAIGUA!
DO NOT COPY NBA2K20.exe. You only need to copy what's in the waigua. I've taken care of everything else.
3. Search user "Da InFamous NY" for slider and roster.

* You can substitute these mods for anything you want. They just need to have the same folder name and NBA2K20.exe name. You would also need to replace the config at config/*mod name*/config.txt

I’ve done this step by step. Just seems stadiums not there. I’ve asked John west to look into it for me as well. Awaiting to see if it works for him or he having same issue

When you select the summer mod from the roster, does summer folder change to waigua, and your waigua folder change to default inside your game folder?

Ok. So there's three possible reasons why it wouldn't work.

1. The files are in the wrong location relative to the game folder.

2. The NBA2K20.exe files got mixed up. (Could happen if Windows blocked access of command prompt to the game folder at some point.)
Here's a patch to fix the .exe file names:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/l574u2n6 ... up.7z/file

3. Windows is blocking access to command prompt renaming the folders. (most common)
To see if this is your issue, open command prompt.
Type this in one line at a time and hit [enter].
cd "Put your game folder here in quotations"
ren waigua default
ren default waigua

If it says access denied or something like that, Windows is blocking command prompt from renaming the folders.

A few troubleshooting steps:
A. Restart your computer. Any time you make a change to the game folder, restart before running launcher. This will ensure that this doesn't happen in the future.
B. Check to make sure the folders are not Read-Only. Right-click on NBA2K20 game folder, and uncheck Read Only if it's selected.
C. Tell your PC to stop scanning the folder. Go in your game folder in file explorer, hold down on ALT and hit V then Y then O.
The two boxes in the privacy section that start with "Show recently" and "Show frequently" should be unchecked.
