It seems that the 05-06 Lakers need an away jersey(now only home and alternative jerseys can be selected)

Expansion team slots only get two jerseys. I wanted to make sure they had the white ones, but they are invisible in edit player if those are set as the home jerseys

I use CE to make this adjustment, and it worked perfectly:

So maybe expansion teams can have more than 2 jerseys?

Ah, perhaps that was only an issue with 2k19 or earlier versions of 2k20. I will update that.

Stop asking for offline roster files

Thunder Shaq has stated that no offline roster file is available for the project numerous times, he also says it on the first post of the thread. Still, people continue to ask for it. He has his reasons for not releasing offline while the servers are still up, and you either get online to download the roster, or you miss out. Plain and simple. Go through the pages on this thread and look at how many people are asking for an offline roster, sometimes right after Thunder Shaq tells someone else that no offline roster is available for this project.

"Well, Dee.. I have a legit version of the game (not pirated), but cannot get online because of connectivity issues". If that is the case, it changes nothing. I hope that you get the connectivity issues figured out and have a chance to get online to download the roster, otherwise... you can't use it.

"Dee, can you send me the roster file?" - No, that is a slap in the face to the head of the project, so stop PMing me. I have received 5 PM's over the last week from different people asking me to send them the offline roster file for this project. I will not send it to you, as that wouldn't be fair to Thunder Shaq.

"I use codex, but that's because I have supported the series for years and all they do is take my money in VC". This is not an excuse, and this game has gone on sale for $20 numerous times over the last few months. Want to use all the roster mods available? Buy the game legally.

Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh, but the constant barrage of people asking for an offline roster file, even PMing myself and others for it (again, slap in the face to the project creator), is getting ridiculous. Thunder Shaq has stated many times that no offline roster file is available for this project right now, respect his rules of the roster.

Please read what Dee says here and respect it. I agree with everything he’s mentioned. If you couldn’t tell, I do not acknowledge requests for offline files in this thread or through private message. The roster works online, so it will stay online until the servers are cut off. Thanks

Well said. Obviously we're not unsympathetic to connectivity issues in this community, but Thunder Shaq has indicated that he's not comfortable distributing an offline version of the roster and will decline to do so. To that end, it's a waste of time to ask, and can end up coming across as pestering when no isn't taken for an answer. I think Dee4Three has been pretty clear here, too.

In regards to the codex version, I understand the point people make about financial hardship, as well as taking a stand because of quality or 2K forcing the issues with microtransactions and whatnot. However, our policy regarding pirated copies has been in place since our original Forum was opened in the late 90s, and it's not only done so that we've got some credibility when we submit our Wishlists, but also to comply with our hosting agreement. I get where you're coming from, and can sympathise if it's due to financial hardship, but we're not going to budge on that policy, same as our policy regarding charging for mods.

Anyway, I think that's all been stated clearly enough, so I won't take up any more of the thread. Hats off to Thunder Shaq and all the contributors to the project so far, keep up the great work!

Great work. I just wish you and most other guys on here would give better instructions on how to use your stuff. It's honestly a bit of a pain. If you make youtube videos showcasing your rosters it would be amazing to drop like a 5 min tutorial on how to install the rosters correctly.

So I have a problem atm. I can't get your roster to work. I downloaded the 1.8 GB file, I downloaded the tools (hook) I put all the files where they need to go (waigua folder for the whole .iff files hook folder for the config file). So that's all done. However, any time I try to download your roster I get a: "This save file is corrupted and can not be loaded" message. Would anybody care to explain to me what I am doing wrong`?

There are tons of wonderful tutorials around the community that help with people that are new to modding. Create separate tutorials for every project would be redundant as most involve the same drag and drop process. As far as roster corruption, I haven’t had too many people come up to me with that issue. I’m not sure that is something I can test on my side, so hopefully others can also download it and let me know if it’s still corrupted. I know we had that issue with the old offline method, but online has worked

Try to update your game with last dlc and be sure to use latest 2k official roster to get a good sync, its dont affect URR roster .

Still working on the MyLeague crash issue

I've been messing around with setting them back to current teams, releasing players to free agency, removing teams. Still crashing. I'll keep brainstorming

In the MyLeague roster, the historic teams that replace the current NBA teams have just the names without the years. Is this a limitation or an error?

No that is because they are set back to current teams. It used to prevent crashing when setting up a MyLeague, but now both rosters crash for some reason

what did i do wrong that caused 06 kobe to have someone elses face charles barkley to have some random face and Reggie Miller to be invisible and the teams dont have accurate courts

You and I are just boned I guess. I had a similar problem in last years version but I can't remember how I fixed it.

Hi sorry to bother again with that but somebody also has trouble to assign Nike shox bb4 to any Vince Carter in this patch or another? Since the shoes are available by 2k its impossible to assign it in a old roster, only the default 2k roster work. I tried import DNA method but according to my picture the shoes refuse to work...
Anyway to solve it?
I using last official 2k update, roster and dlc, I tried to disable hook option to make vsync priority on mod files but change nothing...

Unfortunately, not being able to play a myleague season or franchise really hinders the usage. I'm sure it's rather frustrating to have this mystery issue. Have you, by chance, made any progress with it?

No, I have not found the root of the issue just yet. I’ve tested a couple theories to no avail. I’m open to suggestions

I’ve been troubleshooting the MyLeague crash tonight.

I’ve been trying:

-add more players to free agency (not enough free agents has caused crashes in the past)
-removing teams/setting teams back to original settings
-removing the mod pack (in case one of my new mods was causing it to crash)

I haven’t really tried messing around with the different settings inside of Myleague in case one of those is causing the roster to crash.

The puzzling thing is the roster did work at one point in MyLeague, the issue is figuring out what is triggering it to crash now from my recent updates. Sorry all, I hope to get this fixed for you

Spent a few hours today testing other methods with no success yet. I had someone send me an older version of my roster that doesn’t crash so I could compare if there was a major difference.

He had deleted the whole free agency pool and it doesn’t crash for that roster, so now I know I don’t have to keep messing with free agents to stop the crashing.

I switched all old cyberface assignments to the one in that roster and it still crashed, so it couldn’t have been that

The version of the MyLeague Roster I installed (which works) has historic players like Iverson on the 16-17 Warriors and Tiny Archibald on the New Orleans Hornets. Is this done on purpose?
