Unfortunately I can't move where the players sit. I could move the seats under them, but then it would look like the players were sitting on air in the same spot. It's too bad because I had to move two of the dornas to the other side of the court because the players are blocking them.

By chance, if anyone does know a way to move where the players sit, please let me know. Same goes for the cameramen.

There will be a separate Season Mod using the same arena, but team-specific scoreboards, halftime shows, etc in stead of the ESPN/TNT presentation. I've already got that side of it working with the All-In-One Retro mod, so it's just a matter of copy/paste. I may do an alpha release so people can use teams as I make them.

This mod includes the custom bubble floor/arena created by myself (except baskets), and edited broadcast package for the playoffs.

I've gotten all but two of the walls acting as dornas. The other two are dynamic and can be assigned to the home team as well. I have instructions on where to locate the textures here:

Haven't created any additional wall textures yet, but confirmed they are working.

Black children are dying in the streets. Where is the outcry for them? I live near the south side of Chicago. I've seen the violence, and seen cops put their lives on the line to save black kids.

Anyone who says black lives matter, but doesn't see the need to talk about the kids are just using black lives for their own agenda. They don't really care about all black lives.

Not really wanting to have a political discussion on this thread because that's not what this is about. It's about modding, but didn't want to release something that says Black Lives Matter on it without clarifying my position.

Great mod. Black people have done more for their communities over the years than police and anyone else. Countless organizations have combated violence. The Whataboutism on black deaths within these communities by black people is a dumb talking point that has nothing to do with holding the power structure of the police accountable for their continuous negligence that have cost people their lives under the guise of protection. That's what it's about. Black people have dealt with violence in their communities forever. But no one ever cared about it until now. And it's only brought up to be defensive. The issue from the prejudice black people face. Black Lives Matter is about the right to walk down the street without being labeled a problem because of your dark features by law enforcement. Black crime is just crime. They aren't killed BECAUSE they're black. And those people go to jail when they commit them. Or at least there's never a moral conversation about how "just" the killing was.

Cops never go to jail when they murder people or hurt them. And they should be held to the highest possible standard because its their job to protect people. The inherent prejudice is clear throughout the system of police and the police unions. Especially when they get defensive. This isn't a Marxist issue. This is a human rights issue. The idea behind defunding the police is an important conversation to have when the numbers are involved. You didn't wanna have a political discussion here, but you just did...you really felt the need to clarify your position on a mod without a rebuttal on such an important and sensitive issue...when you just could have started a separate thread about it. Anyway, I felt the need to clarify my feelings on what you said before downloading it, because I'm sure other people have them also. We shouldn't be afraid to talk about it anywhere if we're gonna start it. It's THAT important. And it's great for change. Great mod again.

That's fine bro. Like I said before, I didn't want to have a political conversation on this thread because this is ultimately about modding, but I can appreciate where you're coming from, and will have this conversation with you as long as we can be respectful.

I made my statement because I put out a mod that says Black Lives Matter which means different things to different people. To many people, this is a Marxist movement and a means to destroy our country and rebuild it how they see fit. To you, it appears Black Lives Matter is about holding the police accountable for their actions. I think that's great. I know a lot of former cops who have told me many stories of corruption off the record, and there's no question there is corruption that needs to be dealt with. My concern is that in stead of weeding out corruption, there is a danger to opening the door for even more corruption.

What I hope we can agree on is that we need good police officers who want to do what's right for their communities. Unfortunately, these kinds of people are being driven away. I think it's a terrible thing to hate any group of people whether it's a race or an occupation. It's just another way to create more division.

My biggest point of disagreement with you is actually your statement that "Black crime is just crime." Do you really want to eliminate the majority of the crime from the conversation and only focus on a small percentage of them? My question to you is would you tell the grieving parents that their kid's deaths shouldn't be part of the conversation because they weren't killed by a cop?

Also, nothing I'm saying is just a talking point. This is real talk. I've spent my life in the streets trying to help families get on their feet, and help kids who don't have a father stay out of trouble. I've had bullets fly around me. My brother was almost killed by gang violence. I've seen people dying on the sidewalk, and others walk by without a care. Death is routine in these areas. The attitude you said that "black crime is just crime" is so pervasive until its your son or daughter or friend who gets hurt. Then it's no longer just crime. Then the parents will protest and try to get illegal guns off the streets. The problem is by then, it's too late. We cannot afford to block this out of the conversation because if we do, we could make our communities even more dangerous.

The biggest issue that plagues our police in my opinion is actually corrupt leaders and politicians. I know business owners who literally cannot get a license unless they find a way to give the mayor and the chief of police money under the table. What kind of person wants to work for that? Not the kind you want wearing a badge. This is why it's gotten so bad. We don't get our city's finest. We get whoever can work with the corruption. This is not the case with all police departments, but many of them are like this.

I don't think defunding the police is necessarily the solution. It's not that the concept of law enforcement is bad, it's how it's being implemented. The goal shouldn't be to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire so to speak. I think the best thing we can do is expose corruption and reform our local governments because that is what is controlling our police departments. The problem I run into is I learn about this stuff, but no one wants to go on record to expose it.

All that to say, I'm with you on recognizing the issue and I'd love to see positive change. I just don't want to see things get worse, and there are some very evil people who are trying to manipulate this movement to bring division, death, hatred, and more racism into our society. I know that is not your intention at all, but that's why I felt the need to include the disclaimer. I don't want to be a pawn to these people. That and I have a soft spot for the kids. I hope you at least looked their names up, and thought about their families. Their lives matter too.

Also interested in the statistics you're talking about. I would agree that my personal experience of what I've witness around the Chicago area is anecdotal in comparison to the data and may or may not reflect the statistics. People are wrongfully convicted all the time, but even if the wrong person was convicted, the victims still remain and the crime still happened. I do want to be open minded in this conversation.

Since the disclaimer exists on the first page of the mod I think that already changed the dynamic of the thread from the get! And yea "black on Black crime" like in my lengthy reply is not as straightforward as people think and often used to dismiss black voices on the topic of racism. If I added the numbers too it'd be a book! If we can talk about it somewhere else that'd be great but I'd want people to know where to go also.
