Issue opening .DDS files in paint.net and GIMP

Hi all,

I don't have photoshop anymore, and am trying to create some courts and players for Thunder Shaqs roster (either for my personal use or for him to implement, or both)

But every time I try to load a texture I get an error stating it cant be opened. I have the DDS plugin installed for both programs. Any idea what is going on? I can open .dds files for NBA 2K17 still... is it just something new with 2K20?

Also, did Lagoa or anybody else release a one texture court template?

I have AMD graphics (5700 xt), and an AMD Ryzen 7 processor.

The plug ins I have work for 2K17 dds files.
