i figured maybe i could throw just a simple color overlay on it but it stayed exactly the same

is there some type of plugin i should be using for a save type? should i not be using photoshop to edit it?

There’s more than 1 stanchion padding file in there make sure you use the one that has a “_c “ after stanchion padding.
When I save any stadium files I’ve found that any without an alpha channel work best if you save it in the default photoshop dds as a DXT1 no alpha. I don’t use the intel dds plug in for much.

so far the only thing i have needed intel for is saving font numbers and letters. i rarely use it either. i did find a stanchion upper last night so yea it does seem as if its in parts. ill have to keep messing around.

See if you can find an edited lakers stadium, I think looyh has one in the realism thread has the stanchion padding as a single image. I'd use his as a base.
You can do what he did in any arena but it takes editing the SCNE files and is complicated. I did that for my Raptors ones I did but it took some time to figure it out.
Bongo88 gave me probably the best moddding tip I ever got. Grab a mod someone else did and When you open the iff you can click on the modified header and see what files were modded so you know what you will need to change. If it's a SCNE file take the modded SCNE file and compare it to the original with a free internet difference checker. That way you can figure out what you are doing.
