Anyway to get more swishes on jump shots?

I've noticed that you can only get a swish when you get a green release but since it's very difficult to get one most shots rattle in. Is there anyway to get more swishes, even on not green releases? Or is it possible to increase the release zone for green releases so you get more of them?

This is strictly for offline of course. I don't like the idea of Michael Jordan fading away and rattling it in everytime instead of getting a swish.
