The Lakers Stadium "we want lonzo" chant

Does anyone notice that when you play the lakers, sometimes the crowd would go "we want lonzo"... Anyone who is good at editing audio files? I was hoping the chant could be changed to "Kobe Kobe Kobe"...or something else related to Kobe. #RIPmamba

They arent saying "we want lonzo". They are saying "we want tacos". The Lakers have had a promotion for decades where if the Lakers score 110 and hold their opponent under 100, the fans at the game get 2 free tacos.

2K10 had the same feature, 2k9 also had some special audio like when Illgauskas got the ball in a home game cavs fans would yell "Z!"

Omg! Thank you for the info. I feel ashamed of myself for not knowing that, being a laker fan for so long. That would make more sense now that I think of it, cuz they say that whenever I had a blowout as the Lakers is over 110 and the opposing team is under 100 or maybe lower. I should listen more carefully next time but I m pretty sure ur right. Thx bro

I heard it tonight when playing. Around the 2 min mark when I was up by 5 and the Cpu only had 93 points.

Not quite right. Till the last season, it was free tacos if Lakers win and hold their opponent under 100. This season it's 2 tacos if Lakers win and hold their opponent under 111 points. So you can hear this chants during defence instead of "DEFENCE!!!" chants in the late fourth quarter and when opponent somewhere near 100 (85 to 90+ I believe, the last season conditions). It's a bit pointless to chant this if the opponent scores less than 80 with 1 minute remaining or 95 with 4 minutes remaining on the clock.

I always wanted to find the crowd sounds to export and use in video edits and this kind of stuff, if anyone finds a way to extract them...
