Hi guys,
I've been working on tendencies and CPU gameplay lately a lot and I just thought it would be great to share some opinions.
So my first question: as I've been working on my 2011 Mavericks right now I obviously want Dirk to operate from the high post. There are several high post plays that pretty much isolate him on the left or right corner. But: the CPU does not run these high post plays. Never.
I have high post set as Dirk's first priority, his shot tendency around 80, his touches tendency, too.
There is an easy solution though: the CPU loves to run guard post up plays, So I set this for him and added a few guard post up plays.
So my question: does anybody else experience the same issue with high post plays?
And: what kind of plays do you use and what kind of plays are good for the CPU to run a "normal" offense? With "normal" I mean, that there are many difficult plays which are almost impossible to execute and result in the CPU not getting off a decent shot.
I think playbook editing is quite important for realistic gameplay. 2k does a good job with the plays themselves (having so many), but some of them just are too complex to execute.
So see this as a playbook thread. Any questions or ideas regarding to playbooks should be posted here.
Cheers
