No VC Earned For Gatorade Halfcourt Shot?

I just did the Gatorade sponsorship thing in MyCareer where I made a halfcourt shot during the pre-game shootaround while wearing a Gatorade hat, but I didn't get any VC I was promised?

I played the game, got my normal game rewards, but that was it, no sponsorship money. This is infuriating, has anyone else experienced this?

I didn't make the shot so I missed out on the VC anyway, but that's a nasty bug if you still don't get it when you do make it. Have you tried going to your agent's office? That's the only other thing I can think of. You no longer have to go there to pick up all endorsement earnings, but I'll randomly drop by there and get 500 VC for who knows what. Worth a try, just to see if it comes in that way. Probably unlikely, but it's the only thing I can suggest to try. If it's bugged though, not much to do except grumble and curse, sadly.

Good suggestion, but unfortunately I went in there today and all I got was 500 VC.

Infuriating but not surprising at all given 2K's track record.

It's also annoying that they'll drag their feet fixing issues like that (if in fact they do), but patch exploits and nerf VC earnings very efficiently.
