2K11 Vibes - I love this direction

Something I have noticed with NBA 2K20 and have really grown to appreciate is the 2K11 vibes I get from it. The graphic direction is eerily similar to 2K11, between the lighting, players size relative to the court, body types, skin tones, lighting for the crowd and on the players, and even the louder crowd which allows us to get more immersed.

Play those two videos at the same time, and tell me they are not ridiculously similar. I love it.

So if you guys are getting 2K11 vibes from 2K20, you are not the only ones. Someone commented about one of my videos on Operation Sports, and said the game reminds him of 2K11 as well.

They also added variations of 2K11 cutscenes which was a nice touch (example, pre game walk out). The state farm assist of the game is still present, and in between quarters they kept the "screenshot" montage of the first quarter action, and even slowed down some of the highlights when they do play so we can actually follow them.

Needless to say, love the presentation in NBA 2K20.

The bus scene was in 2K11 too. 2K use to do that, 2k15 cut scenes on free throw went back a year of two.
Why did they remove (and then add again) these nice things ?
I still hate Player of the game before the end, post game menus (2k10/11 :P )
And angles of replays cams in game seem limited.
So I dont share your feeling about presentation, it's OK but i dont feel 2K11.

One problem I have with the replays: The dunks are cut off at the top a lot. Like if you watch the end of game highlights, or the highlights of individual players, you cant see the Rim or the ball going through the hoop on a lot of dunks.

That could be fixed with a patch.

2k20 being slower than the past few games definitely gives it more of a 2k11 vibe. The past few games have just been track meets
