Since I've got the game on PC and PS4 again, I've got two different lineups. Thanks to the pre-order packs and picking up enough tokens to get a couple of Emerald players, I've boosted my lineup slightly beyond the starter pack. On PC, my current lineup is as follows:

I went with the Derrick Rose starter pack, and as you can see, I've already upgraded him to Sapphire. I definitely like the idea of the Evolution cards, with the extra goals to shoot for and the tangible reward of making your free card better. On PS4, meanwhile, I went with the Vince Carter starter pack, and also upgraded him within the first game.

Aside from Steve Kerr and Antonio McDyess, the Emerald Reward players, they're pretty different lineups. I'm kind of liking the PS4 lineup a bit better though, because of this man:

Even at 74 Overall, he's a cheat code. That's why he's starting over Kanter, despite inferior ratings.
It's tough to start over after getting all those Galaxy Opal and MJ cards in NBA 2K19, but at least I'll get to play the mode this year since I won't be grinding in MyCAREER. On the downside, MyCAREER was a great source of VC, so I might have to go to it at times to stock up.
