In all seriousness, keep the grind up. I’m sure you’ll be recognized for your contributions. Just realize it took R4zoR 9+ years and we’re still not even sure what capacity he’s used for 2k20. Gotta be patient.

Im glad they use old good ideas.
Hope they will do the same for the post game menus, for the retro teams (tv showcase, scoreboard, rules).

It is not entirely clear why 2К were removed this at all in previous NBA 2Ks. Most likely to increase sales, so some young players who did not play the old-gen NBA2Ks would respond: “Wow, this is an incredible new feature!!! Must buy 100%."

Keep in mind that development of these games means you rewrite parts every year and sometimes you just don't have time to fix everything so stuff gets cut.
PM then decides it's low priority to re-add and it waits several versions.

That's from personal experience with software development on fast-ish schedule.

It's not like they haven't gone to great lengths in other presentation details in recent years, either. That just happens to be one pre-game scene that didn't make it into the presentation later on.

To add to that, while the file formats may be the same and some textures/models re-used, it doesn't mean all the code under the hood is identical, or that it can be freely changed/removed/added to without causing problems.
