Hi, I am editing a model in blender but I have accidentally created a tear underneath the arm. How can I remove this seam from the model in blender? I have tried using the remove doubles function and it removed the seam but it gives me an error when I try to export the model afterwards. I have also tried merging the individual vertexes but it does not totally get rid of the seam. Is there another method that I am missing?
Here is a picture of what I am talking about:

You can select two vertices opposite each other, press S to scale, then press X, then press 0. Do the same for Y and Z by pressing S then Y or Z and finally 0. Basically scale their xyz to 0, it should put them in the same place.
