Edit Stanchion Shake?

Hey all,

Does anyone know if it's at all possible to edit the backboard stanchion from shaking on dunks?

I like the rim breakaway, but the stanchion shaking like it's made from rubber is horrendously ugly IMO.

I would rather it doesn't shake at all to be honest.

Just curious if any of you gifted modders know that it can be done at all.

So ksmiz put out a cheat table.. and in that table there is an option for "backboard movement". Here's the thread viewtopic.php?f=241&t=106237 If you or someone else can't test or doesn't, I can look myself soon, and see what happens if you zero that value out

I honestly don't know what that does and didn't verify if it is in the right spot since last year so sorry. CarolusXCI made the table last year and put that in there I just didn't delete it

I think it dealt with moving the hoops closer together to make a smaller court for the NCAA and high school type arenas

I doubt it has anything to do with the backboard shaking animation stuff

I will look into it sometime soon

I've been away from the game for a while and jumped back in. Did a touch dunk with Lebron and the stanchion went all rubber on me.

If ANYONE knows how to reduce or remove that moving backboard I'll be forever indebted. Heck I'm at the point where I'll pay money haha..... it's so ugly..

I 100% agree here blacktop. It looks very arcadey. This must be possible given that some of the outdoor and myplayer gym backboards don't shake

If you watch Park or even Jordan rec centre dunks, the rim breaks away when players hang or do pull down dunks, but there is no backboard shaking. To know it's in the game, but just not for the normal NBA arenas tells me it is possible.....

It looks MUCH nicer. I'd give ANYTHING to make it happen. Would really make dunks in games look much better!!
