I can put out textures if people can actually put the scoreboard together in game, I find it pretty fun doing them

O yeah I got a method to make it easier to see what your finished scoreboard will look like while you are working on it

So TwisT made textures but along with that he has made some examples with the numbers and bonus text placement etc

Ok so if you take looyh's fullscreen watermark and then scale TwisT's example with filled in numbers to exactly how you want it to look on the screen then you will have a view of the finished product that you can work toward

To make it easier you can change the opacity even a little bit will make enough difference to then allow you to move and edit the real scoreboard until you get everything lined up overtop of the watermark template

That should make it easier to work out the scaling / dimension / finished look of everything

TwisT if you see this thanks for the templates with examples. If you feel like going another step to help people getting into scoreboards then scaling that and placing as a watermark in the right spot on the screen would be helpful to get the perfect look end product. Not trying to give you more work though just not trying to stretch or skew what you want it to look like. Anyone who gets that far should know how to do the watermark anyway so not a big deal

@CujoMatty these mods are amazing!! Are you able to swap the positions of the home team and road team? It looks like you have the road team on the right or bottom rather than the left or top. I know I'm being annoying and picky. Keep up the great work!

You arent being picky. I want these to be as accurate as possible and I swear I checked the placement as I record every Raptors game but alas, just checked and you are correct. I must have looked at road games when I checked the first time. I swear it feels like these are never going to be done lol. Thanks for the heads up I will fix.

One thing I did notice is that in the Summer League games the points get tallied for the wrong team lol I was using the Raptors against the Suns and when OJ Anunoby hit a 3 the Suns got points for it and the opposite when DeAndre Ayton dunked one home.

there are so many little pieces and adjustments to make when even trying to swap from 1 position with another

you will appreciate scoreboard mods much more now and hopefully others will too

now getting the home and away team sides is pretty important but when some requests come out of nowhere like will you scale the whole thing smaller? and move it to the side? etc. those people

they will never appreciate the amount of work some request like that would take

anyway... great job on the TSN!

here is a tip
If you are only using hex editing to move things then you should know there is another option to move stuff using the scorebug_opt.SCNE
even if something doesn't say translate under it you can add it if you follow the syntax and make sure to put a comma in the line above

you could even zero out the placement of where these things go in all the .animation files then come back and do all your moving of things here
if you leave the animation files as is then you will always have a default higher Y or Z-axis number for one teams over another because of how the original looks

also SCNE files are pretty much JSON files so in a text editor like notepad++ you can change language to JSON but you would need to save as a normal text file with .SCNE

so not to deal with the language I found this JSTool JSON viewer and it shows you the structure of the .SCNE file with everything folded up to begin with and you can expand sections out and when you click on something it will take you there

so here in the example I can move "three_score" negative on the X-axis so I'm moving it over to the left

Ya after hours of moving....checking.....moving.....checking.....I figured out about the adding translate to SCNE file but ya that's a great tip if your starting out. I don't even know what a JSON file is yet lol,

One thing I spent hours on and couldn't figure out is how to add a dds to an animation. For example I wanted to add a square that says "3pt" in it to flash over the score when a player hits a 3 instead of the text that happens.

Also I wanted to add a notification bar that would pop up with the end of quarter text. Any ideas?

I think everything is fixed.

Added logos for both Sportsnet and TSN to better mimic what they use. Swapped logo locations and fixed score and three locations.

Any chance you can get the likes of Rod Black, Leo Rautins and Jack Armstrong to replace Ernie, Chuck and Kenny in the pre-game? I believe someone else managed to get C-Webb, Jalen and Chauncey to enhance the ESPN pre-game show.

I had to redo mine. I think the patch updates something in the 3A file.

That would be cool but I have never attempted to do a cyberface and to be honest learning how isn’t a top priority lol. I’m still trying to figure out some scoreboard issues. I know how to change them if someone had cyberfaces.
