C'mon man you don't need to pit creators against each other. There are several other individuals making high-quality faces and many that have been doing it consistently for years/decades. I respect your love of the content but this being a "standard" comes off as a slight to guys like Amaro, mrk326, and R4zoR that have put in the same, if not more hours and create equally awesome stuff.

Really man? How in the world did you come up with the conclusion I'm trying to pit creators against each other. You really are reaching if you think that's what I was trying to do. I respect every creator in here because they can do something I cant, and for you to say what you said is just mind boggling. Talk about being over sensitive. I don't usually get into spats, but man you have to quite being such a snowflake, and stop thinking everybody has some agenda with their comments. I just installed his D. Wade cyberface, and let me tell you his technique is on another level. That's all I was saying.

People have poured hours into modding and you undercut when you say that this is some sort of "standard" they need to hold themselves to as if they aren't already producing quality content. If this is supposedly the new "standard" then that means everyone "chasing" is substandard. If it's "on another level" then by default all others are not on that level.

If that's not what you intended than choose better words. You can compliment his work without comparing it to everyone else like they need to set it up. I'm not gonna quite (sic) being a snowflake when your comments are demeaning to other creators. Can you imagine if I strolled into every thread and told creators that their cyberfaces weren't up to the standards of others? There would be no more modding.

There is no way that Rose is 4k. Are you just saying that for promotional purposes? I noticed another modded is doing a 4k Lebron so maybe that’s where you got the idea.

You do realize 4k is a calulatable thing right? Like your faces are 1024x1024 which is not 4k resolution. I had some other creators message me about these concerns. Don’t get me wrong, I think the texture on Griffin is an improvement over other low-res faces but what makes these faces 4k exactly?

So can you answer the previous question about how these are advertised as 4k when their resolution is 1024x1024?

You’re a good creator, you don’t need the gimmicks of false advertising to get recognition at this point. Just be honest. The faces look better than before, that’s great progress.

I totally agree with you about the D. Rose cyber face is really low texture and looks terrible in game, no way near 4k quality. With all that being said, how do you get a free pass on criticizing creators on work that they are providing here for free, but when someone gives them a compliment alarm bells seem to go off in your head and you freak-out, and go on some SJW crusade. I have no problem with you pointing out this problem, just pump the brakes and let others do the same.

I haven’t to lie about the size of my textures. Just I had some photos for these players in a resolution very high. It put 4K when I got it. Another thing is how I edited the texture later.

Anyways I will continue working on more cfs, following your advices guys to improve.

Brandon Davies cf was deleted by 2K this year. So I brought him back to 2K19 making this from the scratch. He is actually playing for Zalgiris (Euroleague), you know him probably because he played for 76ers and Nets (2013-2015).

That’s just not true. I compliment many people on these forums. There’s plenty of creators who have been complimented that I’m completely silent on. Hell, I complimented OP a few comments back.

But part of having a good forum is holding people accountable. If you want to be in a thread where you can’t critique, hit up operation sports. I enjoy that here you can voice opinions.

Just throwing 4k into the title for more clicks isn’t cool. That’s a bad precedent and should be called out in the same way good content should be complimented. Glad OP is addressing it and look forward to good content in the future.

Well guys, I finished my modded LeBron James cyberface. I want to thank to YKWL for his tattoos in high definition (those are really cool). I worked using high resolution reference photos creating a texture 2048x2048 (the default is 1024x1024) following his tips.
Finally it is the result, I hope you like it and enjoy with this cf

Nice effort bro but what is going on with his eyelids and ears.... that needs some fixing.. I'd suggest for you to take more time finetuning for a CF before u rls it because your bases often look great but little things with/like hair, eyes and ears are mostly off and destroy the overall impression and me from keeping in game (Theis needs some tweaking on his hair etc it could be much better because base is great!...) cudos to your efforts though
